FROM EARTH TO VALUE

LIVING LAB EARTH BLOCKS (leemsteen)

Case studies

In the Living Lab, we investigate the application of earth blocks through real case studies. The design and implementation of these case studies will be done in a co-creative setting with building professionals involving architects, contractors, study firms, experts in earth blocks, brick manufacturers, Buildwise and UHasselt researchers. In each case, the design and construction process and the evaluation afterwards are extensively documented so that the lessons learnt can be taken into account in the continuation of the research.
